When I called them to have work performed on an exterior demolition, they offered me several different options. One of which was an indoor mobile demolition service. The other was an indoor mobile/permanent dumpster service, both with pickup trucks, which gave me flexibility to move the debris and materials at my leisure.
The company was very courteous and I appreciated all of the details they provided for me. My excavation, foundation, roofing, and foundation removal were completed quickly and with no damages to my roof or structural integrity of the building. After the exterior demolition, they transported all of the debris in large dumpsters to their facility in Staten Island. The dumpsters were loaded on high-scale conveyor belts and delivered to the demolition site.
The next day, I received a phone call from the company stating that another client wanted to know if they had done the exterior and foundation removal job. I checked the paperwork and verified they had. During this second call, I asked them if they ever use mobile demolition services. My question was a simple one; “Do you have an interior demolition service?” To my surprise, the answer was no. They informed me that they had two mobile trucks and utilized their services on two occasions for an apartment addition project as well as a pool project.
After checking out the two companies, I decided to use their services once again for an apartment addition project. Again, I contacted them for an estimate and after reviewing the written estimate and photographs of the project they recommended to use their services. I never had any qualms about using a demolition service to take care of the exterior and foundation demolition. I felt comfortable using their services because the only time I met with them was when we met for a free estimate. Their professionalism in not only choosing the best method for the project but also following through with the work as promised was impressive to me.
Another area that I needed help with was removing interior concrete walls. Although this is typical construction work, I was not aware that I would need professional help removing concrete walls. The commercial interior demolition services that I contacted were able to remove the concrete wall without any problems. After our discussion, they ensured me that they would contact a licensed engineer to help me make sure that the wall removal was completed properly. They also made sure that I was able to schedule the removal so that it would not be a hassle for me.
When looking for a professional company that offers commercial demolition and removal of building materials, you want to make sure that you are going with a company that is local and that will work within your budget. I chose a company that was local and I contacted them because I wanted to go with a family owned business rather than an offshore business. I found that the residential demolition and removal of building materials were more expensive than the commercial ones. However, the residential company was very professional and did an excellent job at removing the building materials without breaking any laws. I ended up saving a lot of money.
Interior demolition does not have to be an expensive project if the right company is used. By hiring a professional company, you can be guaranteed that the job will be done correctly and professionally as requested.
